I hope you and your children are enjoying their Spring Break. The calendar was released a couple of days ago and I have compiled it into a Word document that you can download and print out if desired or save to your computer or both.
Notes: The first week back from Spring Break (next week) we will have practice on three days: Tues, Weds, and Thurs. Practices will start asap after school and kids will need to be picked up at 4:45 p.m. at Storm Grove. The following week, we start competing. Our first match is Monday, April 4th, against Sebastian, at the Sebastian River High School Courts. Then we have practice on Tuesday and another match on Wednesday. The entire schedule is attached to this email and listed below, as well.
As you can see, match days are Mondays, some Wednesdays, and some Thursdays. Practice Days are on Tuesdays, though the first week we'll practice Tues, Weds, and Thurs. In case of rain, you will be notified asap ahead of time, but sometimes the rain is unpredictable in which case the cancellation may be later in the day rather than early in the day. I recommend that you download the Mardy Fish Children's Foundation app for your smartphone. That is the fastest way to know if a match has been cancelled. Cancellations will also be announced at school.
The matches will start at 4 p.m. but I would like players to report 15 minutes early, to warm up. Some matches may not end until 6 p.m. but some may end earlier than others and so 5:45 is a good time to plan on picking up your child from the matches, but they may not finish until closer to 6.
