Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
Registration forms are now available at the front desk at Storm
Grove for all students who wish to participate in the Middle School Tennis Club
at Storm Grove Middle School. In order for students to participate,
parents/guardians must attend a mandatory meeting for Parents and Guardians
scheduled for Tuesday, March 26th,
at 5:00 p.m. in the Storm Grove MS Media Center. Other important
information will be discussed at the Parent Meeting.
Our tennis team is a no-cut team, which means students won’t get cut,
even if they are beginners. Students must attend practice and matches and be
committed. In the matches, you will sometimes play students who are on the same
level as you, but sometimes you will play someone better than you, or vice
versa. Good sportsmanship is expected!
Payment must be made at time of registration. Please return the permission
slip and payment as soon as possible. They should be turned in to directly to Ms.
Angie Herman, our school’s bookkeeper, or you can bring them with you to the
Parent Meeting on March 26th, no later. The cost to participate is $40.
Checks should be made out to the Storm Grove Middle School Tennis Club and MUST
include name, address, and phone number. Financial aid scholarships are
available for those who qualify. To inquire about scholarships, please contact me.
The tennis season lasts for 6 weeks. Practices will be held on
Tuesday and Thursday after school, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Matches
against other Middle School teams will be on Fridays. The first practice is tentatively
scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd. Our first match is tentatively
scheduled for April 5th.

that you need to address before the Parent Meeting. Otherwise, I am looking
forward to seeing you again or meeting you for the first time at the Parent
Meeting on March 26th!
