Hello Parents!
Friday (tomorrow) we have a match against Oslo Middle School
and St. Helen’s. The match will be played at the Vero Beach Tennis Club at
Timber Ridge. Players should get there between 3:30 and 3:45 to warm up. We
will start match play at 4 p.m. and we will be done between 5:30 and 6:00. To
get to the VBTC at Timber Ridge (from SGMS), head south on 58th, all the way to
Oslo Road (9th St. SW). Turn left on Oslo Road, then head east about 5 miles.
Drive past the traffic lights at 43rd, 27th, 20th and then look for the church
on the left, about a mile east of 20th. It is called Morning Star Church. There
will be a sign saying Timber Ridge. Turn left there and follow the road slowly
until you reach the Vero Beach Tennis Club on the right.
I have a request. Is it possible that parents can
take turns providing drinks and snacks for kids for the matches? I understand it is short notice and for some it
would be a hardship, but I just wanted to put this request out there. Thank you
